An accomplished singer of opera, cabaret and musical theatre, Renee has performed with numerous companies including L'Opera de Montreal, Boheme Opera NJ, Bronx Opera, Ohio Light Opera, Nebraska Theatre Caravan and Media Theatre for the Performing Arts.  She recently completed the National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Whistle Down the Wind.  Renee performed her one woman show All Grown Up Now at the legendary NYC cabaret venue Don't Tell Mama.  She was also seen Off-Off Broadway in Diet Monologues: The Musical as part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival Next Step Developmental Series.  Show Business Weekly said of her performance in Diet Monologues-- “The divinely talented Renee Claire Bergeron is hysterical as Reverend Delphina, and she brilliantly shows off her operatic training as Diva DeLuxe.”  Some of her favorite NYC performances include The Public Sings!, Nothin' Like A Dame and Gypsy of the Year 2007 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.  She has also sung with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus under the baton of Robert Shaw.

Renee is a native of New Orleans. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University and a Master of Music degree in Voice from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM).  She also received additional training in opera at the International Institute of Vocal Arts in Italy.  In New York City, Renee has studied acting at T. Schreiber Studio and musical theatre under such notable performers/teachers as Betty Buckley, Craig Carnelia and Barbara Walsh.  She has also been seen in numerous readings of new musicals in New York City in performances at the Metropolitan Room, The York Theatre and NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.

Renee currently studies voice with Victoria Clark and acting with JoAnna Beckson.
